Admittance criteria

 

The International Line accepts different groups of students:

  • Professionals: People who are working professionally with development projects, diaconal or social work within churches or church-related NGOs.
  • Volunteers: People who are voluntarily working with development projects, diaconal or social work within churches or church-related NGOs.
  • Exchange students: The International Line can be attended by people, who are studying a relevant field in their home countries, as part of their formal education. The 3 months course equals 20 ECTS-points.

     
Requirements

 

We welcome applications from students who:

  • Posses solid oral and written English skills. As the course will be in English, a good demand of the English language is absolutely necessary to participate in the course.
  • Are interested in all course subjects, take active part in all teaching and do homework in time. It is a full-time study and it is not possible to still work for their organization, while they are here.
  • Take their part of the practical work at the school such as cleaning and kitchen duty.
  • Seek to build up good relations with fellow students – international as well as Danish.
  • Contribute to the Ecumenical fellowship by respectful dialogue and participation in devotions.

  • Are willing to share a double room with another international student.

  • Are engaged in volunteer or paid work at a local church or church-related NGO and desire to return to their home country upon finishing the course to do diaconal or development work.

  • After the course are willing to fill in evaluation forms, reflecting on what they have learned, and share the knowledge and experience obtained through the course with both Danish and national partners.
