Location of The Diaconal College

The Diaconal College is situated between a beautiful forest, a beach and the city of Århus - the second largest city in Denmark. Århus is located in Jutland - the peninsula that is connected to the European continent.

If you want to go from the school to the centre of Århus it takes only 15 minutes either by bicycle or by bus. One of the most popular beaches in the region is even closer.

Facilities at the Diaconal College

Lodging
There is a dormitory connected to The Diaconal College where all international students will be sharing a double room with another international student. 

Meals
All meals are enjoyed at the college where our excellent kitchen staff cooks for us. That includes breakfast, coffee at 10 am, lunch, afternoon coffee, dinner and evening coffee. Yes, Danes love coffee! It is possible to join special diets if you are a diabetic or a vegetarian.

Laundry
You have access to a laundry room with washing machines and dryers.

Devotions
Almost every day begins with a morning devotion in the classroom of The International Line. Some days international and Danish students attend the morning devotion together in the auditorium. The morning prayer is part of the daily schedule. The students at the college sometimes arrange evening devotions for those who would like to participate. 

Computer room
The International Line has its own computer room, where students can do homework and access the internet. Due to availability, the students must share time at the pc's between them. You are very welcome to bring your own laptop and mobile phone. 

Creative workshop
Here is your opportunity to develop skills such as painting or doing ceramics. The workshop is always open. You can purchase materials from the office or the art teacher.

Music room
The students can use the schools instruments, such as piano, keyboard, acoustic and electrical guitars, drums and percussion.

Sport facilities
The college has an outdoor football lane as well as a beach volleyball lane.

Library
The International Line has its own small library and students at The International Line can freely use The State and University Library in Århus.
