Diakonhøjskolen og Videncentret er repræsenteret i to centrale europæiske netværk:

 

The Educational Working Network of Eurodiaconia

The Network is a platform for mapping out and tapping in to cooperation in diaconal education in Europe. Future cooperation in the network aim at developing common indicators for diaconal education in Europe, exchange of staff and student as well as facilitating new cooperations with know-how.

NordForsk Researchers Network:
The New Quest of the Origin, Identity and Ideology of Diaconi

The network aims:

  • to collect Nordic and Central European high level scholars into one network and thus establish the new platform for the new quest of the origin, identity and ideology of diaconia
  • to create clarified new research paradigms and
  • to articulate and clarify the methodology needed in re-evaluation.

These aims will be paralleled with material and practical aims as

  • promoting the joint publications of new results
  • creating a new web-portal for the daiconia research
  • promoting a new scientific peer-reveiwed journal
  • supporting international publications of PhD candidates
  • creating new internationally appreciated text books in diaconia

Group 1: The identity and role of diaconia in the society (Trygve Wyller, Heinz Schmidt, Johannes Eurich, Ullrich Zeitler - and doctoral students)

Group 2: The practice of diaconia (Herman Noordegraaf, Anne Birgitta Yeung, Tony Addy - and doctoral students)

Group 3: Re-evaluation of historical and ideological roots of diaconia (Kari Latvus, Mikko Malkavaara, Esko Ryökäs, Renate Kirchoff, Karlo Arffman - and doctoral students)

Group 4: Reformulation of diaconate (Stephanie Dietrich, Sven-Erik Brodd, Matti Repo - and doctoral students)
